Hello T678 parents,

BSA Chief Seattle Council is offering an IOLS (Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills) training session at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 17, 2023 (check-in begins before 7:00 PM) through Saturday, November 18, 2023. During this training, you will learn how to build a fire, use an axe, cook outdoors, navigate using a map and compass, responsibly care for the outdoors, and much more. Whether or not you were a Scout as a child, this course will equip you with the skills and knowledge of a seasoned camper. This is a rare opportunity to receive this training in Mercer Island. Don't miss out—register now for IOLS!

We need Scouts from our troop to volunteer to be Den Chiefs! Den leaders from pack 624 and pack 668 reached out to our troop. They are looking for scouts to assist them to lead their cub scouts, organize games, and help during activities. The commitment is one meeting a month (plus optional outings during the weekend).

Hello Troop 678 families,

Summer is here! With your huge support and active involvement, the troop had a wonderful year in 2022-23 and successfully wrapped up all regular events for this year. During the summer break, we'll have several summer activities, including Camp Parsons camp, Philmont backpacking trips, Whitewater Rafting, NYLT training, etc. However, please note that there will be no regular troop meetings or committee meetings during the summer.
